"Super easy app when I need a sitter"
I’ve used the Rover app a handful of times now, and it’s been really straightforward. I can find a sitter, read reviews, and message people without jumping around everywhere, which makes the whole thing feel a lot less stressful.
The booking process is easy to follow, and I like getting updates and photos right in the app. I’ll admit I sometimes judge a sitter a bit by how they message, like if their tone feels warm and relaxed, I assume my pet will probably be comfortable with them too. So far the app has loaded quickly for me, and I haven’t run into any annoying glitches.

I had a bit of an issue and, rover helped get it sorted out quickly. I know people like to assume these things always turn into a huge hassle, but that really wasn’t my experience. It got handled without much fuss, and I’m fine with how it turned out.

I booked an overnight sitter through Rover for my dog while I was out of town for about a night. Everything went smoothly, and I got a couple of updates without needing to check in first. My dog seemed relaxed when I got home, which is usually the main thing I care about. The house was left tidy too, as far as I could tell. I’d probably use it again

The prices seemed fair to me, and I didn’t run into any weird surprise fees, which I really appreciated. I found a sitter in my budget easily. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little clearer upfront, i kept feeling like I had to double-check everything. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying, and yeah, I wish the details were easier to compare.

"I’m always a little nervous leaving..."
I’m always a little nervous leaving my dog with someone new because I tend to leave a bunch of little instructions, but the sitter really followed everything I asked, which made me feel so much better. My dog came home happy and relaxed, and that’s kind of all I needed to see. Just a really good experience overall.

My dog can be nervous around new people, but the sitter totally got it and didn’t push him. They gave him space, sent me updates, and when I got home he was actually calm, which says a lot. I’m really glad I gave Rover.com a try. Anyway

"Canceling was honestly super easy"
I had to cancel a booking last minute and I was expecting it to be a whole thing, but it really wasn’t. Rover.com made the process simple and the refund details were clear enough that I didn’t have to go digging around, oh, and the sitter was really understanding too, which made it way less stressful. No awkward back and forth or drama, it just got handled. I definitely appreciated that.

I had a bunch of little things going on before I left the house, so I was already kind of distracted, but the whole experience ended up being smooth. They showed up, did what they needed to do, and were easy to deal with. I also appreciated that they were mindful of the cameras around the house, which made me feel a lot more comfortable being away

I booked a few drop-in visits for my cat and was a little nervous something would get missed, like the litter or feeding schedule. Thankfully, it ended up being easy. The sitter sent photos, fed her, and checked the litter each time, which helped me stop worrying as much. I came home to a calm, happy cat, so no complaints. I’d use Rover.com again.

Rover worked well for me. I got message notifications quickly, or at least it felt like they came through right away, and I didn’t miss any updates from the sitter. It made it easy to stay in touch while I was away. I didn’t really run into any issues, so I’d probably use it again...

"Fair fees for the peace of mind"
I’ve booked through Rover a handful of times now, the service fees haven’t really bothered me. From my experience, they’re shown clearly before you confirm anything, so I don’t feel like I’m getting hit with some random charge at the end.

The way I look at it, I’m paying a little extra for convenience and peace of mind. Having the messages, booking details, payment, and support all in one place makes the whole process feel a lot less stressful, especially when it comes to leaving my pet with someone.

Of course I wouldn’t complain if the fees were lower, but overall they feel reasonable to me for what you get. The app has been easy to use, and I’ve had good experiences so far. Definitely 5 stars from me.

"Good meet and greet, just wanted a bit more upfront info"
I set up a meet and greet through Rover and overall it went well. The sitter showed up on time, asked thoughtful questions, and my dog seemed comfortable around her, which is always the biggest thing for me. The app was simple enough to use too. I’m giving 4 stars because I do wish there had been a little more info upfront, especially around what’s included and any extra costs, since I try to be careful with pricing before booking...

Used Rover for a weekend trip and was definitely a little nervous at first. But the sitter came across really trustworthy, sent a few pics each day, and replied fast whenever I checked in.
Only giving 4 stars because the first meet-up felt a bit rushed, and wish her profile had a little more detail. Overall though, my dog seemed happy and I’d book with her again.

Leaving my pup with someone else always makes me a little nervous, but this felt like the right choice. He came home happy and relaxed, that says a lot. It’s important to me to leave him with people who treat animals with real care and respect
